  • Can You Colour Match Pantone Colours?
    DTG printing is a digital form of printing and whilst our machines are setup to match colours with the best possible results. We are not able to directly match pantone colours and exact colour matching is extremely difficult to perfect with Direct to Garment printing. Our machines utalise a CMYK + Red and Green setup, so the colour gamut that our machines can achieve is much larger than most.
  • Are There Any Limitations In The Print?
    Our machines cannot print in metallic colours such as Gold or Silver as shiney prints are not achievable with a water based ink that we use. However we can find alternatives if you are looking for these finishes, if you email our teams specifics we would be happy to help
  • What Is The Maximum Print Area?
    The maximum print areas are as follows; Standard Unisex T-Shirt - 40x50cm Standard Unisex Sweatshirt - 40x50cm Womens T-Shirt - 30x36cm Standard Hoodie (Front) - 36x30cm Standard Hoodie (Rear) - 40x50cm
  • What File Type Do We Need?
    We can work with most file types, from JPEGs, to original design files, but we would reccomend a PNG file with a transparent background. The file should be setup to at least 150dpi and you must ensure that all edges are sharp.
  • Can I Supply My Own Garments?
    Yes, but all garments are supplied at your own risk as spoiled garments or miss printed garments cannot be replaced at a later date by ourselves.
  • Can You Print Onto All Fabric Types?
    KYTO use DTG printing which is available on a wide range of garments. Ideally your garments should be 100% cotton, however we can print onto blends where the cotton content doesn't fall below 30-40%. A print test may be required for fabrics that we have not printed onto before. But Cotton & Polyester combos work fine.
  • What Is Your Typical Turnaround Time?
    Our typical turnaround on bulk orders is circa 5-7 working days. This can vary during peak periods and often your delivery can be much faster than this. The turnaround time will begin once the final sign off of the job has been made. For one off prints expect a 1-3 day turn around.
  • Do Your Prints Last A Long Time?
    Our DTG machines offer unrivalled colour fastness and wash fastness in the DTG market. We advise all customers to wash their garments at 30 degrees and do not iron directly onto the print. If you follow these basic instructions then your prints will last a long time! Unlike Screen printing, our water based prints are also much more resistant to cracking and peeling.
  • Do You Offer Priority Turnarounds
    Yes! We understand that sometimes a quick turnaround will be required, get in touch for a quote if you have a tight deadline. The quote is calculated on an ad-hoc basis dependant on our current work loads. We will always try our best to accomodate quick turnaround requirements where possible.
  • Artwork Requirements
    Minimum 150DPI RGB PNG or Flattened PSD Transparent Background Sharp Edges No Semi-Transparent Colours Any areas that are less than 2px wide, may be choked out of the print.
